Chrissy Teigen encouraged her baby to kiss a bug and Twitter convinced her it was poisonous

IF YOU CAUGHT Chrissy Teigen’s Instagram story yesterday, there’s a good chance you were fairly creeped out. That’s because she was holding a massive bug of an unidentified species.
If you missed her Instagram story, you’re in luck (or maybe not), because she shared a video of this encounter on Twitter and told her followers it was time to play another round of “What’s this bug!?”
If the video won’t play, click here.
Chrissy’s followers were excited to play the game, and used it as an opportunity to freak her out by telling her that the insect she had been holding and encouraging little Luna to kiss was in fact a Tarantula Hawk Wasp.
For those of us with no knowledge of insects beyond being able to tell the difference between a spider and a ladybird, the Tarantula Hawk Wasp is apparently pretty dangerous and can cause paralysis with a bite.
Chrissy was like #NotAllTarantulaHawkWasps.

Despite numerous warnings about the bug, Chrissy saw the good in it and joked that some day they may become lovers.
After a while, Chrissy spoke to entomologists who informed her that while it wasn’t a Tarantula Hawk Wasp, they weren’t really sure what it was.
All of the excitement was followed by a statement in which she agreed that it was fairly silly to let Luna kiss a weird unidentified bug.
